Common formats include flat bottom, stand-up, three-side-seal, and spout pouches. Buyers are typically food manufacturers and contract packers needing long shelf life and retort compliance. One limitation: retort processing requires specific film structures and seal integrity, so not all standard pouch designs are suitable; custom engineering is often needed.
