Biodegradable Tea Packaging​ Bag Wholesale

This stand-up pouch is built from a matte oil outer layer, pure aluminium foil and a PE sealant, at 140 micron. The aluminium layer blocks light, moisture and oxygen, so it protects delicate tea leaves and ground coffee from staling. The matte finish gives a soft, non-reflective surface that holds print well. Thickness and size are customizable, so the same structure can be run as a small 100 g pack or a larger 1 kg bag.

It is used for loose leaf tea, tea bags, matcha and roasted coffee. The pouch runs on standard vertical form-fill-seal lines or can be filled manually, and the fin or lap seal needs a clean, flat seal area. A zipper suits resealable retail packs; a one-way degassing valve is only useful for freshly roasted coffee, not tea. A window is not possible with an aluminium layer, so if product visibility matters, choose a clear or metallized structure instead. For recyclable mono-PE or compostable PLA/PBS options, barrier life is shorter than foil, so they suit shorter shelf-life or faster-turning lines.
