This side gusset pouch is built with two folded side panels and a flat bottom, so it stands on the shelf and holds a blocky shape at 100 g, 250 g, 340 g, 500 g or 1 kg. The common structure is PET/AL/PE for full aroma and oxygen barrier, or PET/NY/PE where puncture resistance matters more. Film thickness is set to the fill weight and the barrier target. A one-way degassing valve sits near the top seal to release CO2 from freshly roasted beans without letting oxygen back in.
The format suits vertical form-fill-seal and pre-made pouch filling lines.
