This is a 5 lb flat bottom side gusset bag built from a three-layer laminate: PET, aluminium foil, and PE, at 140 micron. The foil layer blocks moisture, oxygen, and light, which protects flour from caking, rancidity, and insect ingress. The flat bottom gives a stable base for shelf display, while the side gussets expand to hold the fill weight without stressing the seals.

Use it for retail flour, bread mixes, and dry baking blends on vertical form-fill-seal or pre-made pouch filling lines. Fill through the top opening, then seal below the zipper. A zipper supports resealing after opening. A window is not typical here because the foil layer already blocks light, and a clear window would remove that barrier in that area. A one-way valve is unnecessary unless the product releases gas. For a recyclable mono-PE structure, barrier is lower and shelf life shorter, but it meets recyclability targets; foil laminates remain the better choice for long ambient storage.
