Custom Child Resistant Mylar Bags​ For Cannabis Edible Packaging

This child-resistant pouch is built as a stand-up, flat-bottom, three-side-seal or organ bag. It uses a mono-material structure of PE or PP, which supports recyclability where local collection accepts flexible PE or PP. The mono construction gives a solid moisture and oxygen barrier for short-to-medium shelf life. It protects edibles, supplements, pet food and medication from moisture, odour loss and light where the film is opaque. Typical thicknesses run from 100 to 150 microns, depending on the barrier and stiffness you need. The child-resistant closure is integrated into the bag, not added as a separate part.

Use these bags on vertical form-fill-seal lines or fill them by hand. The flat bottom stands well on shelf; the three-side-seal format suits smaller counts. Heat sealing works on standard impulse or constant-heat sealers. A zipper can be added for resealability, but it must not interfere with the child-resistant function. A window is possible if the film structure allows it, though it can reduce barrier. A spout is not typical here because it complicates child resistance. Choose mono PE or PP when recyclability matters more than the highest oxygen barrier. For very oxygen-sensitive edibles, a foil laminate still performs better, but it is not recyclable in most streams.
