This flat bottom bag is built from a three-layer laminate: a matte oil finish, pure aluminium foil and a PE sealant layer, with a total thickness of 140 micron. The aluminium core blocks moisture, oxygen and light, which helps preserve the aroma and freshness of sensitive products. The flat bottom gives the pack a stable, block-bottom shape that stands upright on the shelf and uses space efficiently in a carton.
It is typically used for tea leaves, ground coffee and dry snacks. The bag runs on standard vertical form-fill-seal lines or can be filled manually, and the PE inner layer allows heat sealing. For tea, a zipper and tear notch make sense for resealing after opening; a one-way degassing valve is only needed for roasted coffee that releases CO2. A window is possible but would interrupt the aluminium barrier, so it is better suited to short-shelf-life items. If recyclability is a priority, a mono-material PE structure can replace the aluminium, but it will not match the same moisture and oxygen barrier.
