Custom Pre-Zippered Roll Stock Film Recyclable High Barrier Rewind Film

This pre-zippered roll stock film is a rewind film with a built-in zipper, supplied on rolls for automatic filling. The standard structure is M.OPP/MPET/PE: an oriented polypropylene outer layer for print and stiffness, a metallised polyester barrier layer against oxygen and moisture, and a polyethylene sealing layer. Thickness is set by the laminate build, typically 80–120 microns, and can be adjusted to the pack size. The metallised core gives a high moisture and oxygen barrier, so the film suits products that need shelf life without a full foil layer. The pre-applied zipper sits across the web and is sealed into the top seal during form-fill-seal, giving a resealable opening without a separate zipper applicator.

Use it on vertical form-fill-seal lines for coffee, snacks, dried fruit, pet treats and powders. The film runs on standard VFFS machines; seal jaws need enough dwell time and pressure to close through the zipper area, and fillers should be set to avoid product in the seal. A one-way degassing valve can be added for roasted coffee, either as a patch or in-line. A tear notch above the zipper helps opening. A clear window is possible but breaks the barrier unless a high-barrier patch is used. For recyclable mono-material PE or PP structures, the film meets recyclability guidelines where collection exists, but the barrier is lower than M.OPP/MPET/PE; choose mono-PE for short shelf life and dry goods, and keep the metallised laminate for oxygen-sensitive or long-life products. Digital printing starts at 10 kg, gravure at 200 kg.
