The 100 micron thickness is typical for this format and can be adjusted to suit fill weight and barrier needs. The aluminium layer blocks light, oxygen and moisture, which protects sensitive formulas such as creams, serums and oils. The PE inner layer allows heat sealing on standard vertical form-fill-seal lines.
These sachets suit cosmetic samples, single-dose applications and travel sizes. They run on vertical form-fill-seal equipment or can be supplied pre-made for manual filling. The flat profile keeps shelf presence low and postage costs down. A tear notch is common for easy opening. A spout or zipper is not typical on this format because the flat seal area is narrow.
