Eco Friendly Flat Bottom Pouch Coffee Bean Bags with One Way Valve​

This flat bottom pouch is built from a three-layer laminate: PET for print and puncture resistance, aluminium foil for an oxygen and moisture barrier, and a PE inner layer for heat sealing. At 130 micron, the structure is stiff enough to stand unsupported and holds its shape on shelf. The foil layer blocks light, oxygen and water vapour, which slows staling in roasted coffee and protects fatty or hygroscopic foods. A one-way degassing valve is fitted as standard on coffee versions, releasing carbon dioxide without letting air back in.

Flat bottom pouches run on standard vertical form-fill-seal lines with a flat-bottom forming set, or they can be filled and sealed manually for small batches. The block bottom gives a wide, stable base and a clean front panel for branding. On this format, a zipper is common for resealable coffee, a window suits snack and tea blends where the product is part of the sell, and a spout is possible but less typical because the flat base already pours well. If recyclability is the priority, a mono-material PE or PP structure avoids the foil layer, but it will not match the barrier of PET/foil/PE for whole bean coffee or high-fat snacks. Choose the foil laminate when shelf life matters more than the recyclability claim.
