Eco Friendly Reusable Tea Bag Packaging​

This pouch is built from a matte oil finish over pure aluminium foil and a PE inner layer, at 140 micron. The aluminium foil provides an effective barrier against light, oxygen and moisture, which helps protect the aroma and flavour of tea leaves and ground coffee. The matte oil coating gives a soft, non-reflective surface that takes print well. The PE layer allows heat sealing and is food-safe. The structure is customizable, so the thickness and material combination can be adjusted to suit different barrier requirements or sustainability goals.

The pack is typically used for tea leaves, coffee beans or ground coffee. It runs on standard form-fill-seal lines or can be supplied as pre-made pouches for manual filling. Sealing requires consistent heat and pressure to ensure the PE layers bond fully. A one-way degassing valve can be added for roasted coffee, while a zipper or tear notch improves reusability. A window is not recommended because it would break the aluminium barrier. If recyclability is a priority, a mono-material PE structure may be a better choice, but it will not match the barrier performance of aluminium foil.
