This is a stand-up pouch built from an OPP/PET/aluminium/PE laminate at 140 micron. The outer OPP layer takes print and resists scuffing. PET adds stiffness and puncture resistance. Aluminium foil is the barrier layer, blocking oxygen, moisture and light. The inner PE layer is the food-contact sealant. Together they protect fat, oil and aroma in dry goods over a long shelf life. The same construction is available as a flat pouch or a box bottom bag.
Filling runs on standard vertical form-fill-seal or pre-made pouch lines. The bottom gusset lets the pack stand after filling; the top seal needs clean, flat jaws and a controlled temperature to avoid channels. A tear notch is standard, placed above the zipper if one is fitted. A one-way degassing valve suits roasted coffee. A zipper fits repeat-use snacks. A window works if the barrier loss is acceptable. Mono-material PE recyclable film is the better choice where kerbside recycling matters, but it gives a shorter shelf life than foil. Foil remains the stronger option for oxygen-sensitive or long-distribution products.
