This format suits sauce, cheese sauce, apple sauce, and shampoo. On filling lines, the pouch is filled through the open top, then the top seal is made; the STANDCAP fitment is pre-applied. A spout and cap are integral to the design, enabling inverted dispensing. A hang hole can be added for retail display. For brands prioritising recyclability, a mono-material PE structure is an option, but it offers lower oxygen barrier than PET/NY/RCPP, so shelf life may be shorter for oxygen-sensitive products.
