Reclosable Child Resistant Stand Up Punches Edible Packaging Bag

This is a stand-up pouch built with a child-resistant zipper. The zipper needs a deliberate two-step action to open, so it is harder for small hands to reach the contents. The pouch is made from a mono-material PE or PP structure. That single-polymer build supports recyclability where local collection accepts PE or PP film. Thickness is set by the application, since the seal strength and the stiffness of the finished bag have to match the fill weight and the closing force of the zipper. The pack protects against moisture, oxygen and light according to the barrier grade selected. It also keeps the product sealed after the first opening.

Use it for cannabis edibles, supplements, pet food and medication. The flat bottom gives the pouch a stable base on the shelf, and the three-side-seal and organ-bag formats use the same child-resistant zipper. On a filling line, the pouch runs on standard premade-pouch equipment. Leave enough headspace for the zipper to close cleanly, and keep powder or oil out of the zipper track, because residue is the main reason a child-resistant closure fails. A hang hole or a window can be added. A degassing valve is not normal on this format, since the valve sits outside the child-resistant function. Mono-PE or PP suits brands that need a recyclable stream and can accept a moderate moisture barrier. A foil laminate gives a longer shelf life, but it cannot be recycled in the same stream.
