This is a stand-up pouch with a press-to-close zipper. It is built as a three-ply laminate: a PET outer layer for print and puncture resistance, an aluminised layer for light and moisture barrier, and a PE inner layer for heat sealing. The standard gauge is 110 micron, which gives the bag enough stiffness to stand on a shelf when filled. That foil-free metallised structure blocks light and slows moisture pickup, so nuts and snacks stay crisp through distribution. The zipper sits below the top seal and lets the pack be opened and closed repeatedly.
The format suits nuts, trail mix, dried fruit, chocolate pieces and confectionery. On a vertical form-fill-seal line the pouch is filled through the top opening, then the top seal is closed above the zipper. A tear notch above the zipper helps the first open. A one-way degassing valve is not normally needed here because nuts and snacks do not release gas, but it can be added for roasted coffee. A clear window can be placed on the front panel if the buyer wants product visibility, though it removes part of the barrier in that area. Mono-material PE recyclable structures are available when the brand prioritises recyclability, but they give a shorter shelf life than this PET/aluminised/PE build and are less suited to long ambient storage.
