Sustainable Commercial Frozen Food Packaging Pouch Bag​ Wholesale

This is a frozen food pouch built from a 140 micron PET/PE laminate. The outer PET layer gives stiffness and print quality. The inner PE layer provides the seal and a moisture barrier. The construction protects frozen contents from freezer burn and keeps the pack rigid on shelf or in a chest freezer. Thickness is customizable, so the same format can be run lighter for short shelf life or heavier for longer storage.

The pouch comes as a flat bottom bag, side gusset bag or stand up pouch. Flat bottom and side gusset formats stack well in cartons and hold shape when filled. Stand up pouches work for retail-facing packs. Filling is typically done on a vertical form fill seal line or by hand for small runs, with top or bottom seals depending on format. A zipper suits resealable frozen fruit or vegetables. A window helps show product without opening the bag. A spout is not typical for frozen food, but can be added for liquid or semi-liquid fill. PET/PE gives a good moisture barrier at a lower cost than foil laminates, but it is not a high oxygen barrier. For oxygen-sensitive frozen items, a foil or metallized structure is the better choice. For recyclable mono-PE, expect a shorter barrier life and check filling line compatibility.
