Sustainable Pet Food Flexible Packaging Bag with Ziplock

This pet food bag is built from a PET/PE laminate at 140 micron, a thickness that holds its shape on the shelf and resists punctures from kibble edges. The PET outer layer carries the print and adds stiffness; the PE inner layer provides the seal and keeps moisture out. It is available as a flat bottom bag, side gusset bag or stand up pouch, so you can match the format to your filling line and shelf presentation. The ziplock is integrated into the bag, not added as a separate fitment.

These bags suit dry pet food, treats and small animal feed, typically filled on vertical form fill seal or pre-made pouch lines. The flat bottom and side gusset formats stand unaided and take a lot of copy on the back panel; the stand up pouch is lighter and cheaper per unit. A zipper is standard on this specification, but you can also specify a one-way degassing valve for roasted or fermented products, a window to show the kibble, or a handle for larger sizes. If you need a mono-material PE recyclable structure, note that it will not match the moisture barrier of a PET/PE laminate over long shelf lives; for 12-month ambient storage, the foil-free PET/PE here is usually the better choice.
