This is rollstock film for facial mask sachets, supplied on reels rather than pre-made pouches. The standard build is M.OPP/MPET/PE: an outer metallised OPP layer for print and scuff resistance, a metallised PET core for barrier, and a PE sealing layer. Thickness is set to suit your filling line and barrier target. The metallised PET layer limits moisture and oxygen ingress, which protects the serum and helps maintain shelf life. The film is custom printed and supplied in lengths from 50 to 300 metres, with size and colour to order.
The format suits high-speed form-fill-seal lines, where the film is formed, filled and sealed in one pass. Sealing temperature and pressure must match the PE layer; too low gives weak seals, too high causes wrinkles or burn-through. For clean-label or recyclable versions, a mono-material PE or PP structure can replace the foil laminate, but barrier drops, so check the required shelf life first. A tear notch can be added for easy opening, and a spout is possible on thicker formats. Gravure printing starts at 200 kg; digital at 10 kg.
