The structure is OPP/PET/aluminium/PE at 140 micron, a four-layer laminate that combines an outer print web, a metallised or foil barrier, and a food-contact sealing layer. The aluminium core blocks oxygen, moisture and light, which protects colour, flavour and vitamin content over shelf life. The stand-up base gives the pack stability on shelf and during filling.
It suits baby food brands, contract packers and private-label producers running purees, yoghurt-style snacks or smoothie bases. The pouch fills through the spout, then the cap is applied and induction-sealed where required. A spout and cap are standard on this format; a tear notch is not typical because the spout is the opening.
